AI Insights
AI Insights answers "what do my statements say about me, and what could I do differently?" It reads the transactions already in your account for a chosen period and returns a written profile, four groups of suggestions, and a chat assistant you can question directly.
The AI chatbot is the one capability reserved for paid plans. On Free, this screen is locked and calling it returns an upgrade-required response; every other screen works on Free. See Plans & limits.
What it shows
At the top, four figures for the selected period:

| Savings rate | Net saved as a percentage of income |
Below that:
- Your financial profile — a short written summary of the period. It carries the time it was generated and a badge showing whether it was produced by the AI assistant or by the rule-based fallback (shown as "Rule-based (AI offline)").
- Four suggestion groups, each a list of short titled points:
- Where you spend more
- Potential to reduce spending
- Where to divert spending
- Improve your profile
A group that has nothing to report is shown empty rather than padded out.
The chat assistant
A chat bubble sits in the bottom-right corner of every page, not only this one. Opening it gives a window you can drag by its header or expand to fill the screen.

How to use it
- Open AI Insights.
- Choose a period from the selector in the header. The default is the last year of data anchored to your most recent statement; you can also pick this month, the last 3 or 6 months, the last year to today, or a custom date range.
- Read the profile summary, then work through the four suggestion groups.
- Open the chat bubble to ask anything the page did not cover — tap a suggested question or type your own.
Notes and limits
- This is general information, not advice. The page and the chat window both carry the same standing notice: general information only, not financial, investment or tax advice. Consult a licensed professional before acting on anything here.
- Suggestions are generated from the transactions you have uploaded and nothing else. They do not know about accounts you have not added, cash outside your statements, debts, assets or your personal circumstances.
- The written profile is cached and reused until your underlying data changes, so re-opening the page will usually show the same text and the same "Generated" timestamp.
- If the AI assistant is unavailable, the page still works: the profile and suggestions fall back to rule-based content derived from your figures, and the badge says so.
- The chat assistant answers each question on its own. It does not carry earlier turns in the conversation forward as context.
- The chat assistant looks at all of your data, not the period you selected on the page. If you want a period-specific answer, say the period in your question.
- With no processed statements there is nothing to summarise, and the page says so instead.
