Product overview
BankStmt ingests bank statements and produces reconciled, structured financial data — plus the analytics built on top of it.
Who it is for
- Individuals consolidating accounts, tracking spending and checking loan affordability.
- Accountants and small businesses needing tax-ready and business summaries across many statements and accounts.
- Developers integrating statement understanding into their own product via the API.
What you can do
- Upload statements as PDF, scanned images, CSV, OFX, QIF or XLSX and get clean transactions.
- Get transactions auto-categorized, with your corrections learned for next time.
- See spending and income analytics, cash flow and consolidated multi-account views.
- Detect recurring subscriptions and unusual transactions.
- Produce tax-oriented reports and loan-affordability figures.
- Export to Excel, CSV or JSON at any time.
- Choose where your data is stored, by country.
Good to know
- Processing is asynchronous — upload returns immediately and the statement reports progress.
- Re-uploading the same document does not duplicate your data.
- Screens built for multiple currencies keep them apart — Consolidated reports each currency separately, as does the tax estimate. Elsewhere amounts are totalled as recorded, without conversion, so a period mixing currencies produces a total you should not read as a single figure. Each screen's notes say which behaviour applies.
See Plans & limits for what each tier includes. The concepts behind the results are covered in the developer documentation, which requires a developer sign-in.
